LYRICS
Come on back out, sunshine
Like I knew you would
I’m so glad you could
Happiness upon me… I feel fine
There’s no need to fear
We’re in the clear
With our only care — care
On our way there
It’s about time
And, we probably should
Thank the Lord. We’re never board
We’re in the clear
The light shines near
In fact, we’re intact
The light shines upon
So, come on!

LYRICS
When I get close to you, there’s nothing that I can do
I start to march
Rhythm overtakes my heart

If I thirst
If the moth is parch
Let the march burst
Just you watch
Love will rain down
Love will reign down
Quench my thirst
Let the heart burst
No need to rehearse
Let the heart burst
Prior to the hearse

LYRICS
1, 2, 3, 4
1, 2, 3, for what do we dance?
1, to what do we dance?

Bark it out
Don’t be afraid
Make a sound
Be found… out

Bark it out

Don’t be afraid
You are what you made
Now, make of it what you will
Shake it… better still

1, 2, 3, 4 what are we dancing for?

Dance a suspense dance (can’t wait to anticipate)
Dance a surveillance dance (see if there’s a scene gleam)
Dance an independence dance
Dance a reverence dance
Dance to thank God we’ve got a chance to dance!

1, 2, 3, for what? 1, 2, 3, 4 what do we dance for?
Dance for what
Jump about
Electrify I. Give Watt! (see your energy)

LYRICS
Now it’s time to go to sleep. Good night.
Go to sleep
Now it’s time to dream of dreams
See scenes from realms seldom seen

Sleep comes creepin’ in
The day-life ends just in time for the night’s to begin

Now it’s time to search real deep
Not it’s time to dream a scene
Of the future… what is yet to come
The Age Grandeur when we come together… become
The Age Grandeur when we come together
In the nether

LYRICS
In the day when the overlords overshadow
These are the days the overlords overthrow themselves
Stripping himself naked of pride and wealth

In the day when Hubris meets Nemesis
They eat themselves leaving us (innocent and righteous)
From chasing their own tail… to The End of the tale

CHORUS
Overlord overload
Under the weight of their own hoard
Overlord overload
Under the wait of the director’s board

In the day when Earth is inherited by the meek
These are days when love shall speak
Cloaking Herself naked with the pride of nature’s hide

Psalm 37
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

Matthew 5
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.

LYRICS
Take some blue
Take some yellow
Don’t forget violet
Do you know what I mean?
Take some green
(or mixing yellow and blue will do)
Color a rainbow

Don’t forget violet

If you read the directions, it calls for red
Or, you can always make do by adding some blue
If you forget the violet

(Aren’t-choo glad you got orange?)

If you’re bright
Take white light
With the rhythm of a prism
Separate the aggregate
And, you know you’ll get a rainbow
= rainbow

Like God make a promise such as this
No harm to humans I wish

LYRICS
If throwing a hissy fit could get you into heaven
Then, I’d quit
Too bad a temper tantrum doesn’t get you in
It’s a sin what you’ve been

[Forgive and forget?]
Before we forget, you’d better check if God will forgive
Takin’ your regret to the grave is a grave mistake
If you’re thinking God will give you a break…
Everybody ‘ll be dancing on your grave at your wake

If lying, cheating, stealing… could get you into heaven
You’d probably win
But, then again…
I wouldn’t bet your life on it
Nor throwing a hissy fit
You might as well quit

Beware of God less you’re dog meat
He’s a big dog… you’re more the size of a dog treat
If you come knockin’ better be answerin’ to “Who is it?”

Hark,

And, that dog’s bark is fierce

Written and recorded on September 16, 2012 in West Chester, PA. It is about people that would aid humanity if they could; however, oppression is in the way.

Oppression is the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner.  It can also be defined as an act or instance of oppressing, the state of being oppressed, and the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, and anxiety.

LYRICS
We’re gonna fly this thing sink or swim
Invoked my thought process
Passed beyond a whim
Gonna build this colossus
Murphy’s Law can’t win
No, never gonna stop us
We’ll never give in

Can’t pull my pork… whack my pud
Ain’t gonna fall face-flat in the mud
Pop your cork
Never a dud
Get behind us, and we’ll call you bud

ABOUT THE SONG

Written and recorded on September 15 and 16, 2012 at the Race Street Pier, Philadelphia and the West Chester, Pennsylvania. It was inspired by inspiration and innovation of the participants in the Red Bull FLugtag competition, as well as, the cooks at the West Chester Restaurant Festival. In the Flugtag event, contestants build contraptions and then try to fly them over the Delaware River. At the restaurant festival, cooks make adventurous dishes like Duck Tacos and fried pickles… then try to coax the crowd into becoming consumers.

LYRICS
Once upon a time the West was wild
The impact of man having been mild
It’s been quite a while
Since there’s been a wolf’s howl

Now, the West isn’t the same (no, no more)
The Western man made it lame
“Of course, you’d better shoot that horse!”

Amazing
Should of stuck to gazing not grazing, hazing, razing, phasing, tasing
’till every red man is a dead man
Burning the planet of its plants
Stripped the mines as if they’re yours
Who knows if life endures

LYRICS
From across the street… thundering applause
Then, a yell from a junk
Bring on the funk

Life’s your stage
Don’t act your age
Life’s our stage
Unlock your cage

Sometimes it’s best when the song ends
Giving rise to the tide… the audience begins

Clap your hands
Whistle and shout
Let love’s emotion out

[ruckus takes place]

Sometimes the feat of the street
Posses your beat
You don’t wanna fade out
Rather end with a bang
No, don’t wanna fade out [fake fade out]
Want this song to be sang
Sing, sang, sung

The miles of smiles riles
Imagination
Creation
Salvation
Stimulation

ABOUT THIS SONG
Capo 2

Am / C
Am / G

Written and recorded September 14, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The song started off being inspired by an old Blondie song on the radio, “Call Me”. Then, while I was writing the guitar part, an unexpected round of applause started from across the street. Next, I was recording the vocals inside the cab of the mobile recording studio… right when it was time to sing “Sometimes the feat of the street posses your beat”… a couple kids caused a severe banging on the vehicle. There is nothing like playing and creating music… especially when there is audience participation.

LYRICS
So, you want to go wailing
Why would you want to do a thing like that?

The buffoon pulls out his harpoon
Shooting himself in the foot
Commence the wailing

You piss in your sink and then stop to think
“Wonder why I have disease?”
You foul your fowl because you’re chicken to change
Then stop to think, “Wonder why I have food poisoning?”

Am I thick
We’re why I’m sick

LYRICS
At the heart of the matter
Is it for better or for worse
To water you can lead the horse
But, to think you can make him drink

At the heart of the matter
I’d rather pursue the better
Method, path or way
For now pray the body will stay
’till the mission is seen through
Behind the curtain… under the veil
When we do our due
And, all shine together

At the heart of the matter
We all shine together
