LYRICS
Live from KingArthur.com with an important public service announcement:

I’d like to take this opportunity to remind all of you fine citizens out there in TV-land…
Don’t forget to tip the bartender
Don’t forget to tip the waitresseses

I’d like to tip the waitresses
… I’d like to tip the waitresseses
For making us tipsy
A tip for making us tipsy

If you just showed up
Raise a cup
Here’s what’s up
Don’t forget to tip the waitresseses
A tip for getting us tipsy

Now, I think I’ll walk home….
Maybe… if it’s not an inconvenience I’ll just sleep on your couch. I could sleep on the floor… you don’t need to worry… I’ll lock the door… on my out.
I could lock up?

Raise a cup
A tip to the waitresses

Don’t forget the bartender
Yeah, that’s a hard job… listening to all of our wine… ya know… we go into such detail… blah, blah, blah….

LYRICS
There’s some weird ass dudes in Phoenixville
Don’t get me wrong…
That’s why I’m writing this song
Love’s why I wrote this song
Ode to a place… where eccentricity gets along

There’s some weird ass dames in Phoenixville
Don’t get me wrong…
That’s why I’m writing this song
Love’s why I wrote this song
Ode to a place… certainly haven’t seen in too long

LYRICS
Hey, man
What’s wrong with your face?
Oh… so sorry
I feel a disgrace
Feel so unkind now I see you’re blind

Hey, lady
What’s up with the cane
Oh… so sorry
I feel lame and shame
Now, I feel your pain

Hey, mirror
What’s wrong with your heart
Oh… so sorry
I feel terror
Need to lead with love… right from the start

LYRICS
Are you finding freedom to be elusive
Do you find the more they take… less they give

Chorus
It’s not too late
We just can’t wait
To participate

Are you finding freedom to be inclusive
Or more like water pouring through a sieve

Rise again

The wisdom comes
Can you hear it?

Is the Firebird heard?

Cobra, cobra, cobra, cobra…. mongoose
Run!

Can you hear it?

LYRICS
Love that’s made from first aid
Live your life like you wouldn’t trade
Put yourself out… don’t be afraid
Step it up… raise your grade
Guaranteed you’ll be repaid
You weren’t meant to wade
Dive in before you fade

There was a little engine
That thought he could
He could use a little push
If you would

There was a little imagine
A thought that would
2 in the hand
Verses 1 in the bush

Understand
Imagine

Please do not resist the assist
A request for aid
Has been made

Offering heart felt help

bookmark_borderThe Wailing Song

LYRICS
So, you want to go wailing
Why would you want to do a thing like that?

The buffoon pulls out his harpoon
Shooting himself in the foot
Commence the wailing

You piss in your sink and then stop to think
“Wonder why I have disease?”
You foul your fowl because you’re chicken to change
Then stop to think, “Wonder why I have food poisoning?”

Am I thick
We’re why I’m sick

LYRICS
You are the link
And, here I thought you were missing
The chain links the chain links
The water ebb or flow
I’m sure you know

You are the pink
And, close enough for kissing

Just when you think
No one is listening
No one is caring
No on is wishing
You’ll be wishing
You’re there

Earth — the best planet going
Birth — let life be flowing

The Phoenix rises
The fire ever higher
Booby trap surprises
Fan the flames
You’re the wind

In the end, you just begin

bookmark_borderAudience Appreciation Index

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted about the Tunesmith Adventures. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been thoroughly enjoying the audiences. I have been. Though I would like to film more of the adventures, live subjects can be tricky.

Anyway, the audiences have been great. One of my favorite times was in the Spring of 2011. I was sitting at the corner of Ridge and Butler in Ambler, Pennsylvania. A school bus with tinted windows stopped at the light in front of me. I thought the bus was empty and just kept playing my heart away. All of a sudden, a bunch of the windows opened and all these kids started screaming and clapping. Wow! What a thrill.

Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music
Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music

Speaking of thrills, there seems to be an outbreak of people inspired to do *human tricks* whenever I start playing my jigging music. The Spring of 2012 has brought many a thrill seeker. Several interesting characters have co-operated in West Chester, Pennsylvania to bring great entertainment to the people. There is a guy that likes to do bike tricks over my head… and another fellow, Nick, who likes to do flips and jumps off the adjacent wall… sometimes it will just be a group of children ranging in ages from 2 to 92 that breakout into a spontaneous dance troupe. You all are more fun than Vaudeville, a sideshow, and a 3-ring circus all rolled into one.

I thank each and every one of you. From those who come up because they feel compelled to offer me money, to those who roll down their windows shouting out with a wave and a smile — THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
Daniel Brouse
