LYRICS
Play with the sounds
… ’til the sounds become sound
Engineer all you hear
Make use produce footloose
Tune-in agent fortune

The beat of the feet
Breakdown on the street
The sounds are found
… ’til the sounds become sound

Traffic stops
Top Of The Pops
Sounds go ’round
… ’til the sounds become sound

Tune-in an agent of fortune
… until the sounds become sound
Sounds go round ‘n round
Until the sounds become sound sound

A 1-track live stereo recording. Written and recorded on the courthouse wall and the corner of Church and Gay Streets in West Chester, PA.

A song about being thankful. While writing the song, many strangers stopped to show their gratitude for the music. So, the song is about being grateful for their gratitude.

LYRICS
Say something nice?
Please say it twice
Might as well go all out
And give it a shout

Went out of your way
Just so you could say
Nice
Entice

Nice
Entice
The day

Putting a smile
On your fact
Lifts us a mile
Your Earth’s grace

ABOUT THE SONG
This song was inspired by people on the street. As I was writing the song in front of the old courthouse in West Chester, PA, a lady went out of her way to say, “Nice!” Then, a young girl walked by… turning her neck like an owl with an ear-to-ear smile.

LYRICS
“Thank you, Sir!”
I really want to thank you, Sir

When you were sitting there sipping your coffee
I didn’t know if you were even aware of me
Then, when it was time for you to go
Wouldn’t you know…
You got up and said, “Thank you, Sir”
I really want to thank you, Sir

“Thank you, Sir”
I really want to thank you, Sir

When you were driving down the street in your Jeep
You gave a shout out that I want to keep
Thumbs up, “Keep it up!”
“Thank you, Sir”
I really want to thank you, Sir

Thank You Sir.mp3

ABOUT THE SONG
This song was inspired by a writing session in Ambler, PA. While I was playing the guitar, there was a female sitting across the street at Maida coffee. She turned into the first verse. Then as I was writing the first verse, another female came driving by… she is the second verse. Thanks girls!

LYRICS
What’s up?
I wouldn’t take long

’cause long ain’t what we got
Your time is running short
… or, have you forgot
Ashes to ashes… return to dirt

What’s up?
I wouldn’t take long

Since your time is getting cut short
Try ‘en let it out as one long blurt
… or, make ’em tingle with a lil’ jingle
… move ’em along with an uplifting song

What’s up?
I wouldn’t take long

LYRICS
Here they come
Where will they fall
Deaf or dumb
Will they hear the call?

The harder they come
The harder their fall
The bigger they come
The bigger their fall

One by one
No matter how tall
No feeling… they’re numb
Did their brains all stall?

The bigger they come
The harder they fall
The bigger they come
The harder their fall

LYRICS
I suppose if this is the calm before the storm
I should take refuge and heed the warn
If things go helter skelter
Do you want to live in a bomb shelter?

Enough picking have and have nots
Enough debating whys and why nots
Lets get getting while the going is good
Livin’ in the moment… just a bit
Never the regret of would, could, should
(no would of, could of, should of’s)

LYRICS
I had this weird vision
You were in it
And, your brothers, two… too… two… too

There was heaven’s light
’round one of your head
This usually only happens
When you’re dead

Connected.
The energy to you
When I’m near you
The energy turns blue
Like an intense flame
And, I’m perfectly sane
Connected.

Ya know it’s true
That that you do
Can come back to haunt you
Ya know it’s true
That you don’t do
Can come back to haunt you

The vision… can you see?
The ghost you created and caused to be

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted about the Tunesmith Adventures. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been thoroughly enjoying the audiences. I have been. Though I would like to film more of the adventures, live subjects can be tricky.

Anyway, the audiences have been great. One of my favorite times was in the Spring of 2011. I was sitting at the corner of Ridge and Butler in Ambler, Pennsylvania. A school bus with tinted windows stopped at the light in front of me. I thought the bus was empty and just kept playing my heart away. All of a sudden, a bunch of the windows opened and all these kids started screaming and clapping. Wow! What a thrill.

Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music
Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music

Speaking of thrills, there seems to be an outbreak of people inspired to do *human tricks* whenever I start playing my jigging music. The Spring of 2012 has brought many a thrill seeker. Several interesting characters have co-operated in West Chester, Pennsylvania to bring great entertainment to the people. There is a guy that likes to do bike tricks over my head… and another fellow, Nick, who likes to do flips and jumps off the adjacent wall… sometimes it will just be a group of children ranging in ages from 2 to 92 that breakout into a spontaneous dance troupe. You all are more fun than Vaudeville, a sideshow, and a 3-ring circus all rolled into one.

I thank each and every one of you. From those who come up because they feel compelled to offer me money, to those who roll down their windows shouting out with a wave and a smile — THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
Daniel Brouse
