LYRICS

Chorus
If you play like you should
You know you’ll be good
If you say that you would
You’ll rock the neighborhood

The people will stand. The people will stare.
Amazed that you are really there
The people will clap. The people will yell.
Oh, yeah! Then, you’ll be able to tell

Chorus

The kids will sing… the children dance
All the can’s can. There’ll be no cant’s
There’s no surprise. The cream will rise.
Come ride the ride of our rising tide

Chorus

ABOUT THE SONG
The most inspiring thing happened — I was sitting on the wall of the old courthouse writing this song, when a lady came over to me and said, “You’re good!”

LYRICS
Where did everyone go?
Where did everyone go
Look around, look around, look around
I don’t know

Thought we’d have some fun
But, I just don’t know
Look around, no one’s found, none around
ohhhhhhhh no!

Repeat

Nice to have a fan
Pleased to meet you, Dan

Look around, look around, look around
Fans stand! Make a stand. Fan stand.
Look around plenty to be found
In sight
Unite
Insight unite
In sight
Unite

HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR PART

bookmark_borderAudience Appreciation Index

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted about the Tunesmith Adventures. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been thoroughly enjoying the audiences. I have been. Though I would like to film more of the adventures, live subjects can be tricky.

Anyway, the audiences have been great. One of my favorite times was in the Spring of 2011. I was sitting at the corner of Ridge and Butler in Ambler, Pennsylvania. A school bus with tinted windows stopped at the light in front of me. I thought the bus was empty and just kept playing my heart away. All of a sudden, a bunch of the windows opened and all these kids started screaming and clapping. Wow! What a thrill.

Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music

Speaking of thrills, there seems to be an outbreak of people inspired to do *human tricks* whenever I start playing my jigging music. The Spring of 2012 has brought many a thrill seeker. Several interesting characters have co-operated in West Chester, Pennsylvania to bring great entertainment to the people. There is a guy that likes to do bike tricks over my head… and another fellow, Nick, who likes to do flips and jumps off the adjacent wall… sometimes it will just be a group of children ranging in ages from 2 to 92 that breakout into a spontaneous dance troupe. You all are more fun than Vaudeville, a sideshow, and a 3-ring circus all rolled into one.

I thank each and every one of you. From those who come up because they feel compelled to offer me money, to those who roll down their windows shouting out with a wave and a smile — THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
Daniel Brouse
