LYRICS
The bigger they come the further they fall
Thinking that they’re above it all

Isn’t it about time for realization
Isn’t it time for a real celebration
Of a civil civil civilization

The meeker they come the further they’ll go
The promised land is coming or don’t you know?

Instead of spines without ration
Following passion’s latest fashion
From the highest peaks to the depths of the ocean

The bigger they come the further they fall
Thinking that they’re above it all
The meeker they come the further they’ll go
The promised land is coming or don’t you know?

LYRICS
Not puppet
Nor marionette
Not God’s pet
You have your freewill
Yet, you bet on remote control
Until you set yourself free…
I guess you’ll always be…
Under control
Still acting possessed by some sort-of troll

Not inmate
Nor Wizard Of Oz
Not God’s fate
You have your freewill
Still, you bet on remote control

ABOUT THE SONG
D slide up to the 5th, 4th, 3rd frets

Written and recorded on September 17 and 18, 2012 at Marsh Creek and Exton, PA.  I started writing this song while sitting along the lake at Marsh Creek State Park watching a man operate his remote controlled boat.  Do some people think they are controlled by God in the same way?

Daniel – Vocals, Guitar

LYRICS
There’s a lot going on
There’s a lot going on here
There’s a lot going on right here (right now)

Understanding
Am I being clear
Demanding
Causing some to fear
Unable to take it in
Confusion confusing
Confusing confusion

Find the mirror
Looking down from above
Eliminate terror
Shining the light of love

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted about the Tunesmith Adventures. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been thoroughly enjoying the audiences. I have been. Though I would like to film more of the adventures, live subjects can be tricky.

Anyway, the audiences have been great. One of my favorite times was in the Spring of 2011. I was sitting at the corner of Ridge and Butler in Ambler, Pennsylvania. A school bus with tinted windows stopped at the light in front of me. I thought the bus was empty and just kept playing my heart away. All of a sudden, a bunch of the windows opened and all these kids started screaming and clapping. Wow! What a thrill.

Nick Does a Flip While I Play Jigging Music

Speaking of thrills, there seems to be an outbreak of people inspired to do *human tricks* whenever I start playing my jigging music. The Spring of 2012 has brought many a thrill seeker. Several interesting characters have co-operated in West Chester, Pennsylvania to bring great entertainment to the people. There is a guy that likes to do bike tricks over my head… and another fellow, Nick, who likes to do flips and jumps off the adjacent wall… sometimes it will just be a group of children ranging in ages from 2 to 92 that breakout into a spontaneous dance troupe. You all are more fun than Vaudeville, a sideshow, and a 3-ring circus all rolled into one.

I thank each and every one of you. From those who come up because they feel compelled to offer me money, to those who roll down their windows shouting out with a wave and a smile — THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
Daniel Brouse
