LYRICS
When needed
The Good come together
Combined
Faith in humanity

Then, greeted
By God. All together. Aligned.
Clarity transparency

Spirits drifting together
Arise the tide
Faith from the inside
Washing cruelty out
The angels shout
The stars shine brighter
Then ever before
A the love comes together
Forever more

Making love to love to love to love to love….

Written and recorded August 22, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It is based on a quote from the Book Of Daniel:

Daniel 12

New International Version (NIV)
The End Times

12 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book —will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

LYRICS
Though optimum would be ideal
That “I am” has enough appeal
Since for the wicked there is no rest
Pray, say and sway toward the best

Optimism — me
You
Look through the clouds
And, the sky is blue

And, the sky above is blue
Let the light shine through
Past the silver lining
It’s all in the timing

Optimismme
See the light shine though
Beautiful view

It’s a celebration
A commemoration
Of comradaration
Ugh huh!

Like no other
Memories etched
Not just the jest
It’s the love that5’s best
A community
Camaraderie
Pleasantry

The only way to recognize our uniform
It’s torn
From the battles
We’ve won

Comradaration
Celebration
Fascination
With elevation
Of imagination
A new suggestion

LYRICS
Even when it’s raining, the sun shines
Even though you’re hot, you run cold
Will we be reading between the lines
Just to find… (spirits don’t have to grow old)

An answer for ignorance
When there is a preponderance
Of evidence
And, the witness is you
What will you do?

How quickly things change in the land of Oz
How quickly things change in the land of ours

LYRICS
When at last you are comfortable
Than, at last, you’re at home
When at last you are salvageable
Then, at last, you are not alone

When at last you’re forgiven
By yourself, set free for livin’
Then, at last, you’ve awaken
In your true home

With a twist of love
Sprinkled down from above
Feeling free to let yourself go
Flying high to the place of know

Have some… please have some home

With a twist of love
Shaken not broken

Livin’ with material junk
Your life’s too short
To try to hoard
Livin’ with material junk

Kinda like being struck by a skunk
With the scene of the scent you accumulate

Debunk your junk
Lighten your load
Debunk your junk
Let your spirit explode

LYRICS
They set out for 3 hours
Sort-of short for seaborne tours
They set out for 3 hours
Ended up with a lifetime of horrors
Such is the fate (of Gilligan)
Such is the fate (of Mary Ann)

If I’m stranded on an island with you
Don’t know what I’d do
I’d leave that part up to you
Maybe distill a ‘lil gin
Then
Let the dancing begin
All the while playing our hearts away
Making beautiful music all night and day

Youth be gold. We’d never grow old.
Just for fun
Maybe distill a ‘lil rum
Maintaining a dance continuum

You’re as old as you feel
And, I am
Unconceal the real deal
Live life while you can

Naked. Swinging from trees.
Begging God we please

LYRICS
As sure as our lives are long
We’ve got to… got to get along
In numbers is our strength

Don’t let “Done Me Wrong” by your only song
Give flight to the might of right
And, it won’t be long
Let’s get strong

ABOUT THIS SONG
Capo 2

Em / G

Written and recorded on August 1, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Daniel — Guitar, Vocals

The song has to do with my ancestors, King Duncan of Scotland and the Armstrongs. One side of my family is related to King Duncan. He was murdered. The other side of my family cut down trees making it look like the forest was storming the castle in revenge of the murder (as described in Shakespeare’s Macbeth: Act V. Scene III.) The clan was named Armstrong and given a coat-of-arms symbolizing the event.

LYRICS
Where do the good people go… do you know?
If the good life they’ve been livin’
Is full with the goodness of givin’
(Even with the occasional sinnin’)
Ya get into heaven
Pass the pearly gates
I can hardly wait

Where do the bad people go… do you know?
If after all the chances
You choose your dances
By selling your soul to the devil
Well… ya go straight to….

H e double toothpick
While you’re still quick
Don’t take too long
And, be judged as dead

A toast to the Mother, Sun and Holy Ghost

Of life make the most

Who do you think you are
Trying to pound your fist
Reaching so far

What do you think you are
Bleeding from your ears
Dishing out fears

Demanding it’s your list
Screaming out jeers
Washing out bliss

Who wants your mess?

If you try to diminish us
You will count less
If you try to vanquish us
Us you will release
So please

Taking the all in

Taking the all in

More like a sponge… near infinite points on the fringe

No need of a place to end
More like a circle or cycle
Your future’s right ’round the bend

Taking the all in
The best that I can
Taking you all in
That best that we can

LYRICS
There’s a line to your body
We could start with your neck
It feels fine going down your spine
The touch of a feather ever so lightly
Wondering what to expect

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Drifting past the small of your back

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Maybe we should start with your lips
At the ends, curving up so slightly
To unseal the kiss of a smile
Up past your ear, then veer toward the rear

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Who knows… if we start with your nose
Over the ledge of the chin’s edge
Through the passage of the cleavage
And, after all, drifting pass the navel

You’re drawing a fine line
I want to know
Where does it go
Where does it flow

Outrageous. Gorgeous. But, not dangerous.

No need to be afraid. You can approach.
Reach out. No need to fear you’ll encroach.

Put your ear to the atmosphere
And, hear what you will see
Put your eye to your mind
Hear what is meant by one-of-a-kind

Outrageous. Gorgeous.
