LYRICS
No matter the tribulation
No, no matter the trial
Merely your suggestion
Brings on a mile wide smile

You saving grace
You bring a smile to my face

Under the situation
Of you playing guitar
The jubilation
Toward a smile goes far

You saving grace
You bring a smile to my face

If only the population
Would yell more, more, more
The spiritual elevation
Will bring on smiles for sure

You saving grace
You bring a smile to my face

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords — E A E
Bm7 A E

Written in Ambler, PA and recorded at Fort Washington State Park in Ft. Washington, Montgomery County, PA. The live version was recorded by Jon at the Jon Sherling Studios in Mount Laural, NJ.

The inspiration came as I sat on a bench in Ambler, PA trying to think of a song to play on stage that night. When I started writing the music on an acoustic guitar, I look up and saw a face smiling back at me. This made me smile. So, I continued with the inspiration knowing the smiling faces would make me smile that night. Then, I stopped to write down some lyrics, and I heard a little voice behind me yell, “More! More! More!” It was a little girl maybe 2-3 years old. She continued chanting until I started playing again. May music bring a smile to our faces.

Daniel — Vocals, Guitar
Black Dress Jess — Percussion (live in NJ)
Janet Nydick — Percussion (live in NJ)

LYRICS
The crowd… they hear it
Building community spirit
Worldly beebop, beebop, beebop

Catch a buzz
Rise above
Be the beebop

The age of youth
Believes in growth
Caterpillar evolves into butterfly
Why not I?

When I eye I, I see
I can be the beebop
With those rising to the top
Cream of the crop

ABOUT THE SONG

ABOUT THE SONG
Written and recorded on August 29, 2012 at the corner of Church and Market Streets, West Chester, Pennsylvania.

When I started writing the song, I thought it was going to be impossible to produce an upbeat song with these chords. So, the idea for the song is the title. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Wonder if I can do it again?

Inspired by the moonflower seeds that sprouted into the sun… growing more tasty than alfalfa, bean or others.

Written sittin’ on the wall at the corners of Market and High streets in downtown West Chester… while sittin’ next to some sprouts… and before ya knew it, they were sprouting everywhere. A beautiful thing — a flower child patch sprouting.

Quarter fairy, barely
The heat is no match for a sprout
No doubt

Ya play it funked up blues
